UNDP South Sudan Training

Thirty-two National Prisons Service of South Sudan (NPSSS) officers who have been undergoing specialized training on the use of a computerised system for capturing inmate statistics graduated recently in Juba. The computerised system and equipment were provided by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for use in the various prisons across the country. The new records officers, drawn from national and state level prison facilities underwent an intense two-week training which also included inmate care and management.
